One of the most common questions I get is: "What’s it really like to live and work as a realtor on Maui?" The answer? It’s a balance of sunrise surf sessions, strategic property tours, and everything in between.

My mornings usually start early. If the swell’s right, I’m in the water by sunrise catching waves before the day picks up. Surfing clears the mind and gets me centered. That kind of clarity is exactly what I bring to my clients.

Mid-morning to early afternoon is all about movement. I might be touring a new listing in Kihei, meeting with sellers Upcountry, or walking an investor through condo options in South Maui. Every conversation is different—but every one matters.

The afternoons are for strategy: market analysis, negotiation prep, or connecting with people thinking about making a move. It’s when the work behind the scenes happens—the kind of work that creates confident, smooth transactions.

Evenings? That’s often when buyers want to tour homes, especially if they’re visiting from the mainland. We chase sunsets, not deadlines.

It’s not a typical 9-to-5. But it’s real, it’s personal, and it’s grounded in the rhythm of the island.
